“Unshakeable, Unstoppable, Unmovable Faith”

I have came to understand in moments of weakness and in moments of questing God that trusting in God is not dependent upon circumstances and reminded that the greatness of God can never be understood through the lens of human faulty.  God is always faithful and good whether we understand what is happening in our lives or not. Where is our trust in God when we are in the midst of life and living and everything falls completely apart, do we walk by faith or by sight? Do we trust or doubt God? Do we instantly reason and question? Reasoning, questioning and doubt are human frailties, and unfortunately, they are not faith or trust in God! Tests and trials remind us that apart from God we can do nothing and that we must rely on something greater than ourselves.

       In Mark 5:35-36Mark 5:35-36

, a Ruler of the Synagogue sought Jesus to pray for his daughter. But while he was in the way, he received word that she had died. But the Lord said to him, “Be not afraid, only believe!” There was the Law with the Master Himself telling the Ruler, “Don’t be afraid, only trust Me.” The father and mother did trust His words, and the daughter was restored to them. There is nothing so foolish as to doubt something God said!

We are not required to understand God’s ways and timing only to trust that whatever God is doing, it will ultimately work together for our good and for His Glory. We must say without a doubt, “I don’t understand what’s going on, but God I trust YOU.” It is that simple, even more, I have discovered when the struggle is the hardest is when the need to trust is the strongest. That’s when it helps to remember the promises and faithfulness of God and that “God is not a man that He should lie” Numbers 23:19Numbers 23:19

19 Dios no es hombre, para que mienta, ni hijo de hombre para que se arrepienta. ¿Acaso dice y no hace? ¿Acaso promete y no cumple?

I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

34:6      This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

34:15    The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.

34:17    The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.

All those times in your life that God seemed distant and unconcerned are, in reality, an earthly perspective of a heavenly plan. If we look at things from the perspective of “ME” we will lose sight of all that God is accomplishing. On the other hand, we can take some comfort in the fact that God does see what is going on in our lives and that He is at work in it. I say we can take SOME comfort because it will not always be clear what God is trying to accomplish. This is where faith clashes with reality. While the trial or suffering may be bigger than anything we can handle, by faith we trust that it is not bigger than God can handle. As the Apostle Paul stated, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:72 Corinthians 5:7

. Taking comfort that God is personally aware and personally involved because you belong to Him.

Put you faith and trust at all times in the living LORD Jesus Christ who cares for you and gave Himself up for you. His death on the cross for your sins was not just to bring you forgiveness but also to make you a child of God. In Christ you belong to the LORD God. And just as a parent is concerned about all that his child experiences, you can rest assured that God is all the more concerned about you!

Psalm 34. God is near. He hears our cry. He has not abandoned us. He will save us and rescue us. WE are NOT alone! Jesus, Himself, is here by our side. He is full of GLORY…filled with ALL POWER. He carries us and fights our battles. My life is not my own. I have been bought with a price. And I will use my life to glorify The One Who saved my life. Remembering God’s got it ALL under control.
