Can God use me?

When God fitted you together, He made you with a purpose in mind.   God wants to use you to accomplish something wonderful with your life. Many people use their lives to do things that God never intended.   The Bible calls that sin and the results are always tragic.   However, when you let God use you for His purpose, the results are wonderful. They will make you the most happy and fulfilled in life that you possibly could be.   The problem for many people is that they don’t think they’re of much use to God.   They believe that they have too many weaknesses and imperfections for God to use them.   However, the fact of the matter is that everyone has weaknesses and God chooses to use weak and imperfect people to accomplish great things.

You represent Jesus Christ, and non-Christians are going to learn far more from watching you than from listening to you.  Even with your weaknesses and imperfections you can learn how to surrender them to God.

They hear a lot about Jusus Christ, but they need to see you living Him.  If your actions don’t back up your words, your words become meaningless.

Set an example:   You should be seeking to set a positive example in your home, church, school, and work.  “I urge you to imitate me”   (1 Corinthians 4:161 Corinthians 4:16

Who are we examples for?

When you go camping you can build two types of fires.

· One burns clean and bright. It’s warm, inviting and people love to be around it.

·  The second is the kind of fire that no matter where you stand, the smoke blows in your face.  It stings your eyes, smells up your clothes, and is not very fun to be around.

One kind burns clean and bright with a love for Jesus Christ.  These are warm, caring individuals, and other people are drawn to them.

The second kind is caught up in the world.  Sometimes people catch a glimpse of Jesus in them, but usually they are so fogged up with sin and self that they are miserable to be around.

Which type are you?  Our non-Christian friends are searching for answers, and we have the answer in Jesus Christ.  So let’s set good example for them. By living a Godly life God will start using you, this will be the begging.
