Can God use me?

Grow in Knowledge —

The more we learn of the Bible, the stronger our faith will become.  We let other people tell us what our convictions should be.  Then someone challenges our faith, and we have no defense. Why?  Because we don’t think for ourselves.  We don’t ask hard questions, express doubt, and seek knowledge.

Answer the following questions:

  • How do you know there is a God?
  • What proof do you have that Christ rose from the dead?
  • How do you know the Bible is reliable?
  • What happens to people who have never heard about Christ when they die?
  • Can you still believe in creation even thought evolution is taught everywhere?
  • Why do good people, babies, and the innocent suffer?

I don’t what to confuse you by asking you these questions.  But if you can’t answer these questions and you are a Christian,  do you really know what you beleive.  You’d better do some studying, and ask people you respect what they think.  Develop your own convictions as you seek what is true and right.

The greatest miracle of all is that God can and does take an instrument that is nothing in itself but sinful defilement and uses it to produce a new creature that is perfectly holy. 1 Cor 1:27-291 Cor 1:27-29

“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to ought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.”   Do you qualify?   We all qualify!

Sometimes the lack of faith is what’s costing us God’s plan for our life.  We have to show Him that we are serious and willing to serve Him.  He also isn’t going to reward a lack of faith in His ability to bless us.   All I can do is try my best and pray that God shows up!
