Can God use me?

If a scholor goes over to a group of guys who are shooting baskets, and just stand at the edge of the court and watch them.   You should see a transformation take place in a matter of minutes.   They will go from laid back shooting to intense playing.   How came?   It’s only because someone important is watching them.

Think back over the past two weeks.   What if Jesus Christ had appeared in your room and said, “Hi, I have decided to join you in physical form for the next two weeks.   You’ll be able to see Me, and your friends will be able to see Me.   I’ll go everywhere you go, hear everything you say, see everything you do”.

Would the last two weeks have been any different?   Would you have gone to the same places?   Would you have said anything differently?

I’ve got news for you, He was and still is right there with you.   He sees and hears it all!

Most important is that we set a good example before Jesus Christ.   We need to always seek to honor God with our actions, words, and thoughts.

I think we should learn how to share our faith. I certainly think we need to find ways to be on the frontlines of the spiritual battle for the lost. But for everyone on the frontline, there must be equal support from the rear.

When you think God can’t use you for whatever reason look at the disciple, they were not perfect.  You might think God can’t use you because you are not ready but God uses people who believe in Him not in them self.   Letting God use you is not only about you, Yes he want you in your mission, with is also His mission.  He doesn’t pick “all star” for his team (this should make us all happy), He picks people that the world will never pick.  And He puts them together and gives them a purpose in life.   God is always going to use you with your imperfections.   We think: “I have to be almost perfect for God to use me.   There was only one perfect man who walked the world that was Jesus without sin.   God uses anybody he wants.   He certainly uses people who where not perfect.   He also uses people who have little skill or talent.   Moses comes to mind, who was a terrible leader at first.   He could hardly speak and was unwilling to talk in front of Pharaoh because he was convinced God had chosen the wrong man.  And as for being willing, Jonah was completely unwilling but God used him anyway.   I only know God is trying to save many lives and that he uses anybody he wants.

We need to be Christian who is reaching out for broken people and stop thinking what we can or cannot do because you are right you can’t do it alone it’s God who’s going to do it thru you.
